ESTABLISHED IN 1988 and BASED ON THE STELLENBOSCH WINE ROUTE

Gerhard Conradie left the teaching profession to start GL Conradie Plant Hire with a single truck, which he was the proud owner and driver of. Over the intervening years of quality service and excellence, the fleet has been expanded and upgraded to its present status of over 64 Delivery Vehicles with a wide range of versatile and specialized vehicles to accommodate a broad spectrum of the related market. The Transport Division consists out of Tipper Trucks ranging in capacity from 6m³ to 22m³, Crane Trucks which undertake the delivery of bricks, blocks, pavers etc. Bin-Trucks to promote waste management and environmental awareness. Tri-axle Back Tippers and Side Tipper combinations.

Transport of Construction Plant and Equipment between sites all over South Africa on several specialized low-bed trailers, capable of handling loads of up to 75 Tons. Our latest addition to our Abnormal/Normal Division, is a 75 Ton double axle dolly with an 16m / 4 Axle Martin Welldeck Trailer, and a mighty FH16-610 Volvo Truck to accommodate these Abnormal Loads.

Our extensive range of earth-moving and construction machinery includes Digger loaders, Excavators, Front end Loaders, Teleporters, Compaction Rollers, Bull Dozers and Dumpers of various sizes, to ensure that the Plant Hire Division provides a high standard of service and customer satisfaction.

4 Mobile Crushing Plants makes the streamlining of Demolition and on-site recycling/re-use a reality. Most other materials handled are recycled at our standard Crushing and Screening facility. Our latest addition to our Crushing and Screening Division is the new 46 Ton mobile crusher with a production capacity of +- 250 Ton per hour.

LETTER OF INTRODUCTION

It is our pleasure to introduce the GLC Group, a trusted name in transport, plant hire, demolition, and construction services. Since our establishment in 1988 on the Stellenbosch Wine Route, we have grown from a single truck operation founded by Gerhard Conradie into a diversified group with a fleet of 40 Tippers and 30 Excavators. From 5T to 40T with specialized attachments and a 22m Long Boom Excavator.

Our journey

From humble beginnings, GLC Group has expanded through dedication, quality service, and excellence. Today, our Transport Division includes:
